after turning 1 year- i wasn't sure what it would be like having a daughter. so far, she is sleeping through the night (every night), she eats real food with utensils and she is able to bring you books to read to her. it is such a wonderful time. i absolutely love it. however, i could look at it a in a different way- such as: she is into everything and if she doesn't get it a temper tantrum is on it's way, yes, she eats real food although most of it doesn't go into her mouth it goes to the dogs or on the floor and as much as i love her sleeping through the night- what happened to the two naps a day? i am not so sure about this 1 two hour nap stuff. i miss the days of the multiple naps (hers and mine). but i won't look at it like that- i really want to enjoy each and every day with her. only so much longer until her little sibling arrives and she will have to share me. i know she will be a great sister- i can't wait to see her give them the little kisses she has just learned how to give us.here she is on the go outside during one of our daily walks. she is so busy- never stops unless the wonder pets or wiggles are on t.v. dang, i know i am biased but could she get any cuter?
